What is the Joca Law and what does it change about animal transportation?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Joca Law (PL 13\/2022)<\/strong> regulates the transportation of dogs and cats by air on national flights, bringing greater safety and dignity to animals during journeys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main changes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2705 Transport in the cabin:<\/strong>
<\/strong>Small animals, up to 50 kg, can travel alongside their guardian by purchasing an extra ticket for the pet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2705 Transport in the cargo compartment:<\/strong>
<\/strong>Larger animals should be transported in the cargo compartment, with appropriate and properly identified boxes, ensuring comfort and safety.

<\/strong>Airlines are obliged to provide adequate conditions for transportation, including training staff and making veterinary services available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
