This stage involves filling in forms, collecting personal and biometric data.

There are different legal bases that justify migratory registration, among them:

  • Registration of immigrants holding temporary visas;

  • Mercosur Residence Agreement: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay;
  • Agreement between Brazil and Argentina;
  • Agreement between Brazil and Uruguay;
  • Residence permit for nationals of border countries where the residence agreement for nationals of Mercosur member states and associated countries (Venezuela, Suriname, Guyana) is not in force;
  • Residence Permit for Study Purposes;

Frequently Asked Questions about Visas and Immigration

What happens if a collaborator's visa is denied?

A visa refusal can lead to a waiting period for a new application and impact future attempts. Our advisory services work preventively to minimize this chance to almost zero, but if it does occur, we analyze the reason for the refusal and devise the best strategy to reverse it.

How long does it take to get an American visa?

The deadline varies greatly depending on demand at the American consulate. However, with our advice, we guarantee that your part of the process (documentation and forms) is done as quickly as possible so that you can take advantage of the first available dates at CASV.

Do you only take care of visas for Brazilians or also for foreigners?

We take care of both flows. We advise Brazilians who need visas abroad and also companies that need to bring foreign talent to Brazil, taking care of their residence and work permits here.

What is the difference between CASV and Consulate services?

The CASV (Visa Applicant Service Center) is where biometric data (photos and fingerprints) is usually collected. The interview, when necessary, takes place at the Consulate, where a consular officer makes the decision on whether to approve the visa.

Why should I hire a visa renewal consultant?

Even when renewing your US visa, an error in filling in the DS-160 form or the lack of an up-to-date document can lead to the need for a new interview or even refusal. The consultancy ensures that the process is as safe and quick as the first time.

Can't my company do the visa process in-house?

You can, but the risk and the time spent by your HR department are high. Our expertise guarantees a faster, safer and cost-controlled process, freeing your team to focus on their strategic activities while visa specialists take care of the bureaucracy.
